The Ecosphere Project is a simulation game where your objective is to keep the Ecosystem alive in the given time.
Design projects, like a new visual identity aimed at providing a more cohesive and professional look to an increasingly defined and completed game engine.
I have worked in various aspect of the 3D pipeline From Modeling to texturing, all the way towards implementation of set assets in the game engines, I have an in-depth experience. Additionally, I can proficiently produce 3D art outside Gaming.
I have animated in both 2D and 3D workflows, though my main focus is in 3D My focus have been mostly in animation for game development thought my technical expertise allows me to integrate more complex and powerful techniques, like Blender's crease pencil, mixing 2D and 3D workflows.
I have studied in Lisbon Fine Art Faculty, learning traditional skills, like drawing and painting, proportion and anatomy. I've also drawn concept art for games and movies. I am proficient in both environments and characters, in many drawing programs.
My Master's thesis was focus in procedural art. For the past 5 years I've worked with procedural tools in Blender and Unity, like geometry nodes, shader graph, and VFX graph, with a focus on its aesthetics and advantages. In Development context, I use these systems to enhance the pipeline.
I have designed the visual identity of Cubos game engine. I've prototype the engine UI - figma prototype Design the logo and wrote the brand guidelines Additionally, I have designed the logos of some of GDT games
I am passionate about creating environment and characters that we, the players can interact with. I am particularly interested in the connection between the visual art and technology. There is a magic quality when working with a computer. I constantly seek to expand my knowledge, technique and culture.
